Elaine Foster

Elaine is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Idaho State University. She has served on the SHAPE Idaho board since 2011. Elaine thoroughly enjoys participating in most sports and exploring the beauties of Idaho.

Heather Van Mullem

Heather Van Mullem is a Professor at Lewis-Clark State College and has been a member of SHAPE Idaho since 2005. She has formally served as a District Representative and President.

Cate Egan Loiacono

Cate is an assistant professor at the University of Idaho. She is the current President Elect for SHAPE Idaho. She is looking forward to rebuilding our program, and in her spare time loves to be outdoors.

Justin Harmon

Justin has a degree Physical Education with a K-12 Teaching emphasis and a minor in Heath with a 6-12 Teaching emphasis. Justin also has his Master's in Educational Administration. Justin has been teaching for 12 years. This will be his 8th year at Connor Academy where he teaches 1st-8th grade P.E. Justin is excited to help rebuild SHAPE Idaho.

Christi Meyer

Christi is a Physical Education teacher at Lewiston High School and serves as the Health & Physical Education Department Chair at LHS. Christi is active in her profession, mentoring future HPE teachers and contributing to the professional development of the HPE community. She enjoys live music, photography, travel and outdoor adventures.



Journal Editor

Hayley McKown

Hayley is an assistant professor at the University of Idaho. She was just elected as the new Journal Editor for SHAPE Idaho. She loves food, camping, fishing, music, rock climbing, and everything in between.

Central Representatives


Carolyn Peters

Carolyn taught high school PE for 23 years in Prescott AZ.  She currently teaches Elementary PE/Heath in Eagle ID. She has coached cross country, track and field, badminton and volleyball.  She is involved with Kid's Heart Challenge, Girls on the Run and is a Young Life leader. She loves all outdoor activities except golf and snow skiing, both of which her husband loves.

Kyle Miller

Kyle Miller is currently an elementary physical educator in Twin Falls with a B.S. in K-12 Physical Education, BS in Sociology emphasis in Criminology with Minors in 6-12 Health Education and Coaching. Kyle has recently earned his Master's in Educational Leadership, all from The University of Idaho! In his spare time, he has coached both football and wrestling across the state and enjoys outdoor adventures with his family.

Lennette Meyer 

Lennette has a B.A. in K-12 Physical Education and a M.A. in the Art of Teaching with an endorsement in Educational Technology.  Lennette recently retired after teaching Physical Education and Health for 29 years. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
